Downey HS: Was a two-time 1st Team all-league selection and voted his team’s Most Valuable Player and received the Coaches Award as a senior… Finished with 21 tackles, four quarterback sacks and one forced fumble while playing on defense… During his junior year, he helped the team win the CIF Championship and he was named All-CIF and all-league… Earned all-league recognition his sophomore season… While on the wrestling team, he was voted their Most Valuable Player as a senior, while he won the league championship in the shot put as a member of the track and field team that year… Received the track team’s Athlete of the Year and Coaches Award his senior year… Spent four seasons on the football team, two with the wrestling team and one year on the track team…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he had eight tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble against El Toro High… Hobbies include working on cars, collecting comics and action figures… Nicknamed “Deme”… Has four siblings – Ernie (33), Monica (32), Victor (25) and Drake (16)… Is the son of Ernesto and Emilee Sandoval… Born in Torrance, CA on April 6, 2006…..
