Joining the coaching staff for his first season, Daniel (DB) Brown will work with the team’s cornerbacks. Over the last two seasons, Brown has served as an assistant coach at La Mirada High, with Cerritos being his first college coaching assignment.

His playing career began at Narbonne High, where he helped his teams win three LA City Section championships, as well as the Division 1-A state championship in 2015. He then transferred to the University of Nevada, where he was an All-Mountain West Conference honorable mention selection as a junior and senior. He helped the team earn an Arizona Bowl bid in 2018, where they defeated Arkansas State University, 16-13 in overtime. He was also selected as a PFF 1st Team All-Mountain West selection.

Brown then played for the Hamilton Tiger Cats of the Canadian Football League in 2021 before plating for the Hamburg Sea Devils of the European League of Football.

Brown, 27, earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from the University of Nevada in 2020. He is single and resides in Bellflower.
