In his second full season as a volunteer assistant coach, Jason Carter will work with the forwards. A former Cerritos College All-South Coast Conference selection in 2017-18, Carter averaged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds, as the Falcons advanced to the 3C2A State Semifinals after winning the conference championship. An injury prevented Carter from playing in the semifinal game. He played his freshman season at Santa Monica College in 2015-16 and then was a red-shirt with Cerritos before playing his sophomore year.

Carter transferred to Lindsey Wilson (KY) College, where he appeared in 16 games as a junior and averaged 4.0 points and 3.1 rebounds for the Blue Raiders. He then played his senior year at Union (KY) College and averaged 5.4 points and 4.1 rebounds a game. They went on to win the Appilachain Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament and qualified for the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament.

Carter spent a season as a student assistant coach at Union College and a year as a grad assistant at Lindsey Wilson College. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Performance from Union College in 2021 and an MBA from Lindsey Wilson College in 2023.
