Cerritos College Men’s Tennis (2014): Had a 15-11 doubles record, and was 13-11 with Sheldon Hseih… The duo reached the finals of the South Coast Conference Tournament… Was also 10-13 in singles play and competed in five of the six positions on the ladder… Won his lone matches in the #1, #2 and #5 positions… Went 5-7 in the #3 spot and 2-5 at #4 on the ladder…..

Long Beach Wilson HS: Won the Moore League singles and doubles championship as a senior while he was the league’s singles champion as a junior and sophomore… Reached the CIF Semifinals twice and Quarterfinals once… Also advanced to the second round at the Ojai Tournament… Was a two-time all-league selection… Went undefeated in league action in singles as a junior… Also reached the CIF semifinals as a junior and the quarterfinals his sophomore year… Spent four seasons on the tennis team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were beating the #7-seeded doubles team at the Ojai Tournament last season, going undefeated in league play in singles in high school and winning a tough three-set match the first round doubles match at the Ojai Tournament… Hobbies include skating… Has one sister – Addie (18)… Nicknamed “Nick”… Is the son of Rob and Angela Simonelli… Born in Long Beach, CA on March 17, 1995…..
