After a season with the Cerritos College men's soccer team, Kevin Meza (ASU Preparatory Academy HS) has decided to sign with UC Riverside. Meza played for the Falcons in 2023 and was a 1st Team All-South Coast Conference selection. As a freshman, Meza played at Northern Illinois University, where he saw action in just four games.

An offensive-minded defender, Meza started all 22 games and scored five times from his defensive position while also adding an assist. He scored goals in back-to-back games against Los Angeles Harbor College and Imperial Valley College, as well as against Compton College and Rio Hondo College. Meza also recorded his line assist in the game against Los Angeles Harbor College. 

He is the sixth former Cerritos player to sign with UC Riverside, with the most recent being Armando Ibarra, Jr., who played his senior season for the Highlanders in 2023.

Meza will be joining a UC Riverside team that is looking to improve on their 3-9-5 mark in 2023
