The first member of the Cerritos College women's basketball team has made her four-year commitment, as Jayden Estrada  (Anaheim HS) will continue her career at New England College. The NCAA Division III college is located in Henniker, New Hampshire and competed in the Greater Northeast Athletic Conference.

As a sophomore, Estrada was a 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division selection after averaging 9.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists a game, while she was third on the team with 28 three-pointers made. She also led the team in free throw percentage at 81.6 (40-for-49). Estrada had consecutive 20-point games against Long Beach City College and Pasadena City College, while she also scored 18 points against Santa Monica College. Estrada also pulled in a season-high eight rebounds against Porterville College and dished out nine assists against Compton College.

The Pilgrims went 10-15 on the year in 2024-25 and had four players from California on the roster, with two of them community college transfers. Both of them were seniors last season, with New England College looking to fill three guard positions vacant due to graduation.
