Paramount HS: Came in fifth place at 165 pounds at the CIF Championships his senior season… Voted his team’s Most Valuable Player two years in a row… Won the Suburban League championship at 157 pounds as a junior… Came in second place at the South Torrance Spartan Kickoff, while he placed as high as third at the Downey 32 Tournament… Spent four seasons on the wrestling team…..
