Downey HS: Specialized in the freestyle, backstroke and butterfly… Spent four years on the swimming and water polo teams… Was an all-league selection as a senior on the water polo team, as well as being named the team’s Most Valuable Player… Also earned their MVP Award as a sophomore… Was second on the team in goals…..
