Long Beach Poly HS: Team won the CIF Championship her senior year, while she won the Moore League championship in the 800 meters (2:32.25)… Also came in third place in the 1600 meters (6:01.23)… Voted her team’s Best Newcomer as a senior… Spent two years on the basketball team and earned the team’ Most Valuable Player award as a freshman…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was her performance at the Mt. SAC Relays her senior year… Would like to transfer to Columbia University and aspires to be a lawyer… Likes to travel in her spare time… Nicknamed “Angel”… Is the daughter of Cheryl Tyson… Born in Inglewood, CA on March 22, 1993…..
