Cerritos HS: Specialized in the pole vault (8’ 6”), shot put (21’ 10½”) and discus (63’ 3”)… Won the Suburban League championship in the pole vault as a senior and helped the team win the league championship… Voted her team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and earned the Coaches Award as a sophomore and freshman… Spent four years on the track and field team and two seasons on the wrestling team…..
