Cerritos College Cross Country (2013): Helped the team come in fifth place at the State Championships by coming in 126th place with a time of 20:38.35 and posted a time of 21:14.00 to place 35th at the South Coast Conference Championships… Recorded a time of 26:00.45 to place 28th at the UCLA Double Dual, while her time of 22:16.70 at the San Diego Invitational put her in 33rd place… Came in 68th place at the Central Park Classic when she crossed the finish line in 21:08.09 and placed 44th with a time of 21:39 at the Los Vasquez Invitational… Turned in a time of 23:26.53 for 140th place at the SoCal Preview Meet…..

Paramount HS:
 While on the track and field team, she was selected Athlete of the Meet as a sophomore and earned the team’s Most Improved Athlete… Team earned a share of the San Gabriel Valley League title… As a freshman, she received an Athlete of the Meet award, while being named their Most Outstanding Athlete and helping them win the league title… Voted the cross country team’s Most Valuable Player as a sophomore and freshman, while she was a Scholar-Athlete her sophomore year… Posted a personal best time of 19:14 over a three-mile course…..

Personal:
 Most memorable moment was when she posted a time of 5:10 in the 1600 meters in a league meet… Has four siblings – Veronica (24), Mayra (22), Benito (21) and Rodrigo (12)… Is the daughter of Benito and Teresa Salazar… Born in Paramount, CA on December 13, 1993…..
