In her first season as a member of the coaching staff, Erin Reid will work with the jumpers. Back in 2013, Reid was a member of the Falcons state championship team. She also competed in the state championships and placed fourth in the long jump and ran a leg of the 400-meter relay team that came in sixth place. Reid then transferred to Concordia University, where she competed for two more seasons.

A product of Long Beach Poly High, Reid was a member of their CIF and state championship team as a senior, while she received the Martha Watson Award. She also helped them win three consecutive Moore League championships while competing in the 100 meters and long jump.

Reid is also an assistant coach at Long Beach Millikan High since 2024, while she started coaching the Long Beach Sprinters Youth Track Club in 2008 and returned to contribute in 2015 and 2024. She also served as an assistant coach at Long Beach Poly High in 2016.

Reid earned her Associate of Arts degree from Cerritos College in 2012 in Liberal Arts and Science.

Reid, 35, has one child, Keemeon (2) and resides in Long Beach.
