The Cerritos College women's wrestling program continued to cement its place at the top of California community college athletics, capturing its fourth consecutive 3C2A State Championship this past weekend at the state meet in Fresno.
The Falcons tallied 239 team points to secure the title, finishing ahead of Mt. San Antonio College, who once again placed second. Sacramento City College rounded out the top three.
After a competitive start to the tournament, Cerritos surged into the lead following the semifinal round and never looked back. The Falcons' depth proved decisive, advancing six wrestlers to championship bouts and claiming five individual state titles.
Leading the way for Cerritos were state champions Rebekah Jimenez (110 lbs), Christina Osorio (124 lbs), Casey Otero (145 lbs), Kinsey Konrad (180 lbs), and Eniekeye Osede (235 lbs). The five titles highlighted the program's balance across weight classes and its continued dominance on the state stage.
Otero's performance at 145 pounds stood out, earning her the tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler honors after an impressive run through the bracket.
In addition to the individual champions, Cerritos received key contributions throughout the lineup. Dalia Preciado (138 lbs) finished as state runner-up, while multiple Falcons added valuable team points with strong podium finishes to help secure the championship margin.
With four consecutive state titles, Cerritos continues to set the standard for women's wrestling in California, showcasing both individual excellence and team depth at the highest level.
