Back in 2000, former Cerritos College wrestling All-American Heath Sims was a member of the U.S. Olympic Greco Roman wrestling team after winning the Pan American National Championship. From 1998-99, Sims was a two-time 1st Team All-Southern California and 1st Team All-South Coast Conference selection at 165 pounds, while he won the state championship in 1998 and came in second place in 1999. He competed in Mixed Martial Arts and currently lives in Singapore to become the head of the wrestling program at Evolve MMA.


Two-time All-American and state champion wrestler Antonio McKee was the Maximum Fighting League light heavyweight champion and has compiled a 28-4-2 record during his MMA career. While wrestling for the Falcons, McKee won the state title at 142 pounds in 1988 and 1989 and registered a 61-0 record in his two seasons, which is tied for the second best overall record in California Community College wrestling history.

Competing for Bolivia at 62 kg in the 1984 Olympics, Leonard Camacho dropped both of his matches and did not advance past the preliminary round. While wrestling for the Falcons in 1981, he came in second place at the Southern California Championships, but did not place at the state championships.
