In his one season as a member of the Cerritos College men's basketball team, sophomore center Spencer Ezewiro (Paramount HS) was named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division and led the team in rebounding, while finishing second in scoring. Ezewiro became the third member of the Falcons to make their four-year committment, as he will be signing with Division I Lamar University, located in Beaumont, TX.

A transfer from Moberly Area (MO) CC, where he only appeared in 15 games, Ezewiro made the most of his time at Cerritos. He averaged 12.3 points and 9.1 rebounds a game. Ezewiro helped the team win a share of the division championship and a berth in the 3C2A State Championships. He started 29 of the games in which he appeared and converted 53.3% of his field goals (145-272).

Ezewiro posted 21 double-digit scoring games, which included a 25-point performance against Los Angeles Southwest College and had 24 points on 11-of-12 shooting against Pasadena City College. He pulled down a season-high 18 rebounds in another game against LA Southwest and recorded 16 caroms against College of the Canyons. On the season, Ezewiro turned in 10 double-double games. In the four playoff games, he averaged 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds a game.

He will be joining a Cardinals team that went 20-13 on the season and had their season end in the Southland Conference Tournament championship game against McNeese State. They finished in second place during the regular season.
