Overcoming injuries through the majority of his career with the Cerritos College men's soccer team, Taylor Demarais (Estancia HS) will get a chance to continue his collegiate career. The speedy forward has signed with Division II Coker (SC) University and is the third Falcon to make their commitment for next season. He joins both Jose Lopez (Cal State Los Angeles) and Griffin Welch (Concordia-Irvine University), who have moved on to the next level.

Demarais received a medical red-shirt after getting injured in 2022 after playing just five games. He rebounded the following season and appeared in 13 games, while accounting for a goal against Los Angeles Pierce College, as well as an assist in another match. As a red-shirt sophomore in 2024, Demarais was limited to only 13 games and made six starts in 2024. He recorded his lone goal of the season against Los Angeles Harbor College after missing five of the previous eight games. He would go on to play in just one more game the rest of the season.

The Cobras looked to Demarais to help fill the void of 11 graduating seniors, with three of them forwards. Last season, Coker went 15-3-1, won the South Athletic Conference regular season co-championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II Nationals - Round of 32. After a 3-2 overtime win over Auburn Montgomery, the Cobras saw their season come to an end with a 1-0 loss to unbeaten Lynn University in the Round of 16.
