Cerritos College Wrestling (2023): Posted a 4-6 record at 133 pounds on the year… Won two of his matches at the West Hills Tournament…

Maywood Center for Enriched Studies HS: Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior after placing second at the regional tournament and fifth at the Arroyo Classic Tournament… Also came in second place at the LA City Regionals at 126 pounds and had to withdraw due to an injury forfeit in the finals… While on the cross country team, he placed 17th at the league championships after coming in eighth place his junior year… As a member of the track and field team, he placed second in a meet in the 3200 meters and fifth place in the 1600 meters… Competed in five sports…..

Personal: Most memorable was when he and his brother both competed in a 50-mile run and placed first and second… Would like to transfer to Vanguard University… His father competed in soccer, gymnastics and karate while in school… Hobbies include playing chess and volunteering… Has one sibling – David (17)… Is the son of Noel Cruz and Ofelia Martinez… Born on October 1, 2005…..
