Cerritos College Women’s Cross Country (2024): Turned in a time of 21:36.4 at the 3C2A State Championships to come in 98th place, while she finished in 50th place at the Southern California Regional Championships with a time of 21:31.7… Placed 12th at the South Coast Conference Championships at 20:36.5, while she led the team at the Bronco Invitational with a 95th place finish in 25:43.2… Also competed in the Manny Bautista Invitational with a time of 21:28.4, which put her in 52nd place and came in 82nd place at the SoCal Regional Invitational in a time of 24:05.4… Took 18th place in the Golden West Invitational with a clocking of 21:27.46, while her time of 18:22.3 put her in 25th place at the George Kyte Classic…..

Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2025): Ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed third at the 3C2A State Championships, second place at the Southern California Championships and won the South Coast Conference championship… Qualified for the Southern California Prelims in the 800 meters (2:22.45) after coming in fourth place at the conference championships… Also competed in the 1500 meters (5:13.24) during the season…..

Warren HS: While on the track and field team, she helped the team win two league championships… won the league championship in the 400 meters (1:01) as a junior and sophomore… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:25) and 1600 meters (5:56)… Was a CIF Qualifier as a senior after coming in seventh place at the Suburban League Championships as a senior… Voted the team’s Most Valuable Player… Helped the team win a pair of league championships… Was a member of the cross country and track and field teams for three seasons…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were qualifying for the CIF Prelims in track and field, placing seventh in the league championships in cross country and when she posted a time of 19:20 in a cross country meet her junior year… Would like to transfer to USC… Aspires to be an orthodontist… Hobbies include building Legos, watching movies and eating… Nicknamed “NaNa”… Has three siblings – JJ, JD and JR… Is the daughter of James and LaVerne Barnwell… Born in Long Beach, CA on September 1, 2006…..
