Downey HS: Recorded a personal best time of 21:16.5 as a senior… Received the Viking for Life Award as a senior, as well as the Coaches Award twice… Helped the team win the Suburban League championship her junior year… While on the track and field team, she competed in the 800 meters (2:33.31), 1600 meters (5:44.02) and 3200 meters (12:47.46)… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams…..
