Western HS: Reached the finals of the Masters Meet and CIF Championship at 132 pounds his senior season… Voted the Orange League and his team’s Most Valuable Player three seasons in a row… Posted a 47-5 record his senior year… Won the CIF Championship as a junior and finished with a 46-6 record… Also won the Downey 32 Tournament and Blackwatch Tournament… Came in fourth place at the CIF Championships as a sophomore and freshman… Voted his team’s Most Improved Wrestler as a freshman… Spent four years on the wrestling team and two seasons with the water polo team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were making the Masters Meet as a freshman and beating someone he had lost to four times in the finals of the CIF Championships… Would like to transfer to Oregon State University and aspires to be a teacher and coach… His brother Raul (26) played baseball at Long Beach City College and Westcliff University, while his sisters Amaya (25) and Sara (20) played soccer in college… Hobbies include tumbling… Nicknamed “Zeek”… Is the son of Raul and Laura Gonzalez… Born in Fountain Valley, CA on October 9, 2007…..
