The Cerritos College volleyball team never really was able to get on track in their South Coast Conference loss to Mt. San Antonio College on Wednesday. The Falcons, who were defeated 20-25, 7-25, 13-25, dropped to 9-12 overall and 6-7 in conference play with one match left in the season. Cerritos, still looking to maintain fourth place in the conference - behind three teams that are ranked in the top eight in the state - close out the season on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. when they host Los Angeles Harbor College at Gahr HS.

Sophomore outside hitter Aundrea Stovall (Lynwood HS) was the only player with multiple kills, and led the team with four, while team played without sophomore middle blocker Amber Finley (Gahr HS). The team's kills leader, sophomore Lupe Garcia (Foshay Learning Center HS), was only able to record one kill, but she led the team with seven digs. Freshman Madison Guastella (Lakewood HS) added five digs, with freshmen setters Brittany Buffington (Mayfair HS) and Gloria Chang (Bellflower HS) registered five and three assists, respectively.
