Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2024): Came in 86th place at the South Coast Conference Championships with a time of 25:41.4… Also took part in the Manny Bautista Invitational and came in 37th place in a time of 24:00.9, while his time of 26:05.3 put him in 52nd place at the SoCal Preview Meet…..

Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2025): Competed in the 800 meters (1:58.69) and 1500 meters (4:18.45) during the season…..

Long Beach Wilson HS: Helped the cross country team win the Moore League championship as a senior… Posted a personal best time of 16:09 as a junior over a three-mile course… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (1:57) and 1600 meters (4:48)… Competed at 150 pounds on the wrestling team… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams, as well as three years on the wrestling team and one with the baseball team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best times in cross country and track… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and aspires to be a commercial architect… Comes from a family where everyone competed in sports at Long Beach Wilson High… Hobbies include hiking with friends, drawing and painting… Has three siblings – Jesse (29), Britney (25) and Isaac (21)… Is the son of Tony Ruiz… Born on October 30, 2006…..
