Downey HS: As a senior, he qualified for the CIF Championships after helping the team win the Suburban Valley League championship… Team also won the Mt. San Antonio Invitational, while he placed third, as well as at the Arcadia Invitational… Posted a personal best time of 15:59 over a three-mile course… Team also won the league title as a sophomore… While on the track and field team, he was on three consecutive league championship teams… Qualified for the CIF Prelims in the 1600 meters (4:28), while he also competed in the 400 meters (52.0) and 800 meters (1:58)… Won the league championship in the 800 meters and 1600 meters his junior season… Spent four years on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best times… Would like to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona or UC Irvine… Aspires to be either an accountant or a registered nurse… Hobbies include playing the piano… Nicknamed “Alex”… Is the son of Alex and Mayela Reyes… Born in Riverside, CA on December 4, 2006…..
