Cerritos College Men’s Cross Country (2024): Posted a 36th place time of 21:45.1 at the 3C2A State Championships and finished in 25th place at the Southern California Regional Championships with a clocking of 21:24.7… Earned All-South Coast Conference honors after coming in sixth place at the conference championships in a time of 20:57.3… Led the team at the Bronco Invitational with a time of 25:36.6, which put him in 59th place, while his time of 20:54.4 put him in 15th place at the Manny Bautista Invitational… Came in 10th place at the Southern California Regional Invitational in a time of 21:33.2, while he was 24th at the Golden West Invitational when he was closed in 21:40.72… Placed 28th with a time of 25:23.7 at the George Kyte Classic…..

Cerritos College Men’s Track & Field (2025): Came in 13th place in the 10,000 meters (33:29.84) at the South Coast Conference Championships, while he took 14th place in the 5000 meters (16:04.56)… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:06.87), 1500 meters (4:18.51) and 3000 meters (9:17.54) during the season…..

Warren HS: Helped the team win the Suburban Valley League championship as a senior and posted a personal best time of 15:34 over a three-mile course… Earned the team’s Most Valuable Player and Perseverance Award his senior and junior years, as well as their Best Newcomer Award as a sophomore… While on the track and field team, he won the league championship in the 3200 meters (9:37) as a senior after placing fourth his junior year… Also competed in the 800 meters (2:23) and 1600 meters (4:34)… Spent three seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were winning the league title as a team in cross country and winning the league championship in the 3200 meters as a senior… Would like to transfer to UC Irvine and aspires to be a software developer or game developer… His brother Richard (17) is on the cross country and track and field teams at Warren High… Hobbies include reading manga, watching anime and playing video games… Has three other siblings – Juan (12), Jocelyn (11) and Lauren (3)… Is the son of Juan Magana and Lacey Gonzalez… Born in Los Angeles, CA on August 1, 2006,,,,,
