With the South Coast Conference Tournament right around the corner, the Cerritos College men's soccer team was in dire need of a win when they traveled to Los Angeles City College on Friday night. Although they didn't lose, the Falcons played to a 0-0 draw with the Cubs. With just one SCC regular season game remaining, Cerritos (11-5-2, 4-2-2) will need to defeat Pasadena City College on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., as well as needing a little help if they are to host in the first round.

Against LA City, the Falcons did get off 10 shots, with five of them on goal. But they were kept off the board for the third time this season and second time in the last three games.

Pedro Reyes (Connections Academy HS/Cal State Fullerton) and Christopher Ramirez (Bishop Mora Salesian HS) each had a pair of shots on goal, with goalkeeper Anthony Gomez (Los Alamitos HS) turning away eight shots on goal.
