Preparing to compete in the Southern California Regional Playoffs, the Cerritos College men's soccer team had six of their players earn All-South Coast Conference South Division. Those voted to the 1st Team included sophomores Joshua Chavez (Ambassador School of Global Leadership HS), Gustavo Arias (Fairmont Prep HS) and Brandon Sanchez (Long Beach Jordan HS), while sophomore Allan Gonzalez (Lakewood HS) was joined by freshmen Nathan Pineda (Santa Fe HS) and Giancarlo Morales (Palos Verdes Peninsula HS) on the 2nd Team.

Chavez, a 2nd Team selection as a freshman, has been one of the team's most consistent defensive players and played a key role in the team posting three shutouts on the year. He's started 18 of the 20 games in which he's appeared and is matched up to defend the opposing team's best player every game. Offensively, Arias leads the team with 10 goal and 10 assists, with three of his goals game-winners. He posted a two-goal game against Pasadena City College and scored seven of his goals in the first 11 games of the season. Another midfielder, Sanchez has played more of a defensive role for Cerritos this season. He has been one of the more consistent players to help clear the ball out of danger, while he has taken 18 shots with 10 of them on goal.

Another 2nd Team selection as a freshman, Gonzalez has recorded three goals and five assists on the year, which included a pair of assists against Compton College. He also followed that game with a goal and assist against rio Hondo College. A great addition to the team in his freshman year, Pineda is third on the team with eight goals on his 13 shots on goal. He had a pair of goals against Irvine Valley College and on two occasions, scored goals in consecutive games. Providing great depth on defense, Morales has started 13 of his 20 games, but still plays some of the most minutes on the back end each game. His lone goal of the season turned out to be the game-winner over Pasadena City, while he also assisted on another goal during the year.
