In a season where he went 10-1 on the mound with a 2.84 ERA, Cerritos College sophomore starting pitcher Noah Andrunas (Gahr HS/UC Riverside) has committed to Saint Louis University. For his efforts this season, Andrunas was named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference, as the Falcons went 33-11 on the season and finished in second place in the conference.

Undefeated until his final start of the season, Andrunas was one of three Cerritos starting pitchers to win 10 or more games on the season, a first in school history. He concluded the season third on the team with 88 2/3 innings pitched, while he led the staff with 89 strikeouts and issued only 24 walks.

Winner of his first seven starts of the season, Andrunas pitched more than seven innings in just one game, as he went eight innings in a 2-1 win over Mt. San Antonio College. he posted a season-high 14 strikeouts in six innings against Bakersfield College, while he posted eight strikeouts in his only loss, an 8-5 playoff setback against El Camino College.

Andrunas, a transfer from UC Riverside, started five of the 16 games in which he appeared for the Highlanders and went 2-4 with a 6.75 ERA. He tossed seven innings in a winning cause against Cal State Long Beach and also pitched seven innings in two other games.

This past season, the Billikens went 33-26 on the year and finished in fourth place in the Atlantic 10 Conference. After winning the first two games of the conference tournament, Saint Louis dropped their next two and saw their season come to an end. They are looking to replace five graduating pitchers and Andrunas will be competing for a starting role.

Andrunas joins pitchers Derek Valdez (University of Hawai'i at Manoa) and Holden Hungerford (Chaminade, HI University) who have already made their four-year commitments.
