A fixture at second base for two seasons, Dylan Immel (El Segundo HS) is the seventh member of the Cerritos College baseball team to decide on their future. Immel, who started 87 of the team's 92 games over the past two years, has signed with Division I Wagner University. He's the first Falcon in any sport to sign with the Seahawks, who are located on Staten Island, NY.

As a sophomore, Immel batted .327 (40-for-150) with five doubles and 24 RBI, while he also walked 35 times, which was second on the team. He hit at a .292 clip (42-for-144) with a trio of doubles and 14 RBI. Consistent at the plate, Immel only went more than three games without a hit once in his career. He also had at least one hit in 11 of the team's 12 playoff games during his two seasons. He had a trio of three-hit games his sophomore year and his patience at the plate paid off by drawing three walks in three separate games in 2025.

Immel also had a career .967 fielding percentage and committed just 13 errors over 397 chances, while he played a role in 53 double plays.

He will be joining a Wagner team that went 31-22 in 2025 and finished in a tie for second place in the Northeast Conference. They clinched a berth in the conference tournament, and after splitting their first two games, saw their season come to an end with a loss to #1-seeded Long Island University.

The team had three California Community College players on their roster this past season, with two of them from the South Coast Conference.

Immel is now the seventh member of the Falcons to make their four-year commitment and joins catcher Nate Gardenswartz (Point Park, PA University), outfielders  Evan Saito (Cal State Northridge) and Isaiah Rios (Azusa Pacific University), along with pitchers Noah Andrunas (Saint Louis University), Holden Hungerford (Chaminade University) and Derek Valdez (University of Hawai'i and Manoa).
