On the road for the first time this season, the Cerritos College women's soccer team surrendered a goal in the first 15 minutes, which proved to be the lone goal in a 1-0 loss to Mt. San Jacinto College. The Falcons (1-1-0) return to their home field next Tuesday when they host College of the Desert in a 3:00 p.m. non-conference game.

The Eagles (1-1-0) a Southern California Regional Playoff qualifier last season, limited Cerritos to just four shots on goal, which were spread out over four different players.

Freshman goalkeeper Paulina Prescott (Downey HS), who made 17 saves in the season-opening win over San Bernardino Valley College last Friday, turned away 10 of the 11 shots she faced against Mt. San Jacinto.
