With a chance to post their biggest upset of the season, the Cerritos College women's soccer team saw their season come to an end with a 4-1 loss against host Pasadena City College in the third place game of the South Coast Conference Tournament. The Falcons (6-11-4) will miss the postseason for the fifth season in a row.

In the game against the Lancers (14-6-2), who are ranked #18 in the state, Cerritos found themselves trailing 2-0 in the first 10 minutes of the game. Playing on a field much smaller than their own, the Falcons struggled with connecting their passes against Pasadena City. They did have their chances, but could not finish them and played from behind the entirety of the game.

In the final minutes of the game, freshman Aiden Ochoa (Whittier Christian HS) was able to get the team on the board when she bounced a hard shot from 35 yards out for her first goal of the season.

Cerritos did manage seven shots on goal, with sophomores Jenna Santos (St. Joseph HS) and Ariana Rivera (Long Beach Millikan HS) combining for five of them.
