In a season where three starters were lost for the season due to injuries, the Cerritos College volleyball team still had eight of their players earn All-South Coast Conference South Division honors. Leading that list was sophomore libero Roselyn Tobie (Maxine Waters HS), who was voted the division's Libero of the Year. The last Falcon to receive the award was Breanna Lizarraga in 2022.
Also named to the 1st Team were freshmen, Jordin Lewis (Warren HS), Elizabeth Beltran (Santa Fe HS), Tiffany Teats (Warren HS) and Minerva Rodriguez (Gahr HS), while the trio of freshmen Danna Higuera (Gahr HS), Gabriella Colombo (Cerritos HS) and Emma Rivera (Mayfair HS) received 2nd Team recognition. Rodriguez and Rivera were the team's setters and took over the responsibilities after sophomore Evelyn Soto-Castro (Schurr HS) went down with an injury.
The 419 digs recorded by Tobie this season are the third most in a season in school history and also led the conference. Tobie, who extended countless rallies with her abilities to dig the ball, also had 22 kills, 58 assists and 18 service aces for the Falcons. Against El Camino College. Tobie posted 36 digs, while she had at least 20 digs in nine matches and provided 11 combined kills against MiraCosta College and San Diego Mesa College.
Lewis, who finished with 272 kills, led the conference with 3.58 kills per set, while she also had 139 digs, led the team with 36 service aces and added 19 blocks. She started her Cerritos career with five consecutive double-digit kills matches and posted a season-high 19 kills against El Camino. Lewis only went five matches without posting at least 10 kills, while she had a season-high eight service aces against Los Angeles City College. As for Beltran, she finished the season with 181 kills, although she missed four matches due to an injury. Also effective in the back row, Beltran posted 135 digs and had six service aces. She posted a season-high 17 kills against both Rio Hondo College and Los Angeles Harbor College and had double-digit kills in nine matches. Teats finished third on the team with 161 kills and added 34 digs for the season. In back-to-back matches, she combined ror 29 kills against Palomar College and MiraCosta, while she had 15 kills against Mt. San Antonio College.
Not playing in the first nine matches, Rodriguez still managed to post 288 assists, along with 85 digs and 14 service aces. By her third match, she had recorded 34 assists against El Camino and in their next meeting, produced 42 assists. In her first match of the season, Rodriguez posted three kills and also turned in 14 digs against Mt. San Antonio College. Rivera saw limited action early in the season, although she did have 25 assists and a season-high six kills in three sets against Palomar College. She recorded a season-high 27 assists against Los Angeles Harbor and posted five kills against Compton College.
Colombo appeared in all 23 matches and turned in 17 kills, 150 digs, 14 blocks and 24 assists. She had five of those kills against El Camino and turned in a season-high 19 digs against Palomar. Through the first four matches, Colombo had recorded 10 service aces and ended the year with 29. Higuera had 65 digs, 11 kills and five service aces in her 21 matches, which included a season-high eight digs against East Los Angeles College.
